Early Years Foundation Stage
In line with our vision “Promoting cultural awareness and national identity in the society through interacting with the UAE’s culture and heritage at an early age”, we are offering a Multilingual Curriculum with a unique focus on the Arabic immersion program and the UAE values. Little Diamond Nursery addresses the different learning needs of children in this ever-changing world. Therefore, the main language of instruction is in English, however parents have the option to select an additional language of their choice adhering to an English-Arabic, English-French or English only program.
In the English program, both Arabic and French languages are taught twice a week each with an extra class, if requested by parents, ensuring that children are interacting in both Arabic and French languages and able to communicate.
Knowing that Dubai is a cosmopolitan city and it hosts people from around the world, we would also be offering, depending on our community demand, further foreign languages such as Spanish and Mandarin.
Throughout our interactive curriculum, children will have opportunities to apply their own knowledge in new situations where they extract ideas and concepts about the world around them building on their acquired skills. In this sense, Field trips, Music, Movement, Crafts, Cooking, Academic areas of learning and community events are all embedded in the curriculum to nurture the child’s mind and body development.
